cosmo cricket

love, love, love this paper!

i made an entire album out of this paper. my only wish was that i had come across the paper earlier and bought more of it!

so the photo really isn't a great one. sure it's clear. but the kids are quite far apart. i think it was too close of a shot to even crop it to improve it. regardless, i like it! nice smiles. both are smiling and looking in the same direction at the same time!!!! (Kiara's hair had been in cute pigtails until she pulled them out. that is why her hair is so crazy. and that is another page!)

very basic.

here is a close-up of the layered prima flowers. and i also used one of my deja-view stamps for the swirl. stampin' up ink. added some Ranger dimensional paint for some interest.

the light is a bit better to see the raised swirls here.

this is a great colour!

they also sell "stickles". it's basically a glitter paint in a bottle. it has a small nozzle, so it is easy to draw with. i heard the black stickles are great. i want to try some of those on a project.

there are neat little products like this. they aren't expensive. they last a long time. what's not to love?!

and now back to cosmo cricket. seriously i should be one of their sales people or something. or at least get paid somehow for promoting them! if you want to see more of the pretty paper like i used above...the line is called GRETEL. have i mentioned they have neat names? this link has more projects using this paper. they also had some fun stuff out at Christmas time called HEY SUGAR!. you've heard me talk about COGSMO. GET HAPPY is another fun one that came out this spring. their latest is called HELLO SUNSHINE. and it is bright. i think i remember reading that the designer was inspired by looking at the fabric in a skirt...during a church service. too funny! anyways i could go on. they have so many different lines....this is just the ones that pop into my brain when someone says "cosmo cricket". because you know that happens regularly! LOL!!
