Christmas decor

it's fundraiser, silent auction city at our house! we have 3 of these in only two weekends. i'd say when it "rains" it "pours"...or in this case, "snows"!

i had soooo much fun creating these projects. and my brain is bursting with more. just to find the time....

i love the simplicity of these. and some of the yummy Basic Grey from their Wassail line....can't go wrong!

it was very hard to part with this one. i could bid on it. but then it seems rather silly to pay for it twice! thankfully i know the secret to making more!! shhhh.....

yes more Basic Grey Wassail! isn't it festive. the chandelier charms are Heidi Swapp. the flowers on the "j" are both Prima. the jewel was dyed that colour using my fabulous alcohol inks.

you'd think i was a DT member or something for Basic Grey {in my dreams!}. here is more of their stuff from their Ambrosia line.

and the book is an address/birthday list combo. isn't it great?!
i learned how to do this project off of my online class "30 days to a Handmade Holiday". loving that class! i've lost track of the number of projects already....must be somewhere around 12 right now. and for sure we have at least 20 days left in the class. the best part is that all of the projects are ones that i would have been interested in. the only question i have is whether or not i'll have the time! at least i can save them for next year.....
today i start my class with Jessica Sprague. "Stories in Hand". can't wait to visit the site and check it out.
we were "trapped" inside Costco all morning....8:00 am to noon. silly system. we had to get new tires put on the "kid car" and they have a first come first serve policy. i think it is safe to say that we will not be doing this a second time. i can't help but wonder what will happen if one of the tires gets a flat.....they never happen when you expect them....honestly i am surprised that they let the woman with two kids stay at Costco for that long without paying us to leave. and the kids truly were on their best behaviour. thank God!!!
okay off to do some crafting. check out my family blog "with all my heart" to see the crafting my kids have been up to. {Daddy is also a crafter of sorts....thankfully he is also a good cook...we needed that this weekend!}
