the colour of the month is.....



GREEN!

the top paper is by a new paper company called FarmHouse. i love it so much that i picked the other papers to make sure this one fit into the layout! the same paper line also had one that was filled with hot air balloons as part of its' design. sadly it was not the right colour. however it got me thinking!

i've started to make inspiration boards for some of my projects. Pinterest is fabulous for that. you can check out my "green" board here.

i love how flower or nature photos look against green papers. it can really make the colour in your photo 'pop'! i wished i had photos of actual hot air balloons too. hopefully somebody will have the perfect hot air balloon photo to add to their layout. i would love to see what that looks like. even photos taken from the air could look cool and tell a great story.



these new elements from Prima are fabulous.



i don't know what it is with me and vellum lately....i have a serious addiction to it. every once in awhile i just have to add it to a layout. tissue paper has the same effect on me!

i am super excited to see my students' reaction to using the Gelatos. there is so much that they can be used for in scrapbooking....a wonderful surprise!



i was really stumped on a title for this layout. i think it took me a week to think about possibilities and finally decide on one. seriously. do you ever wonder if those caterpillars creeping along flat surfaces have the capability to know the dramatic change that awaits them? it really is remarkable. i think kids are similar. they each have their own potential and dreams....only time can reveal what direction they go.



these Maya Road metal keys are amazing. not sure what it is that i love about old looking keys to much either? whenever i see a design i like, i always buy it. i need to use some of them too...a few are becoming an item to hoard!
