chatterbox

and no the title of this company is not the only reason i like them!

haha! very funny....

when i first started to scrapbook, this company had a lot of product in the stores. but the last few years it has taken a backseat in new stuff. they just came out with some new trendy papers and embellishments. and they are awesome.

when i was looking for some fun and classy paper for one of my latest projects...this paper caught my eye:

i was shocked - in a good way!! - to find out that it was made by Chatterbox Inc.

and i noticed it has been selling quite well. so i made sure to grab a couple of extra sheets in this "happy" line.

then Urban brought in some more of their stuff. and i fell in love with their "botanico" line. it will be perfect for a family album. i got 2 of each of the patterned paper, some jewels, and 2 packages of their embellishments...and hoped it was enough.

i was happy to feel like doing a scrapbook page last night. i have those awesome photos of the kids from a few weeks ago.

and when i sat down i thought this would work out great with the "happy" chatterbox.

did more blogging while i waited for Kiara to fall asleep last night (seems to be the trend these days....) and ended up on the chatterbox blog and then their website. there was a story of the history of the company. very interesting. had no idea that melody ross was the one who started it, from home. her first product were little books with quotes. which i happened to receive from Kim in my RAK prize.

that was all the inspiration i needed. had a photo. awesome paper. and found this quote in that little quote book.

something old. something new.

i saw these great paper flowers first here on the Daily Inspiration blog. then went to Katja's blog to learn how to do it! and had to make it my own....and show off as much of this great paper as i could.....

i trimmed out one of the butterflies. used some Making Memories flowers and buttons. added alcohol inks to some Heidi Swapp acrylic shapes.

some ribbon scraps. (except for the green one....i just bought that....and so love it!)

i wanted to use some dimensional stickles paint. but when it was time for that step. i thought it didn't need anything more.

the only thing i don't like? my photo of the page! i'm going to try some more photos of it. i want to do the colour of the papers more justice...technology!
