really?

there is something with three year olds and their curiousity.

simply just excercising their abilities.

exploring their boundaries.
a few weeks ago she snipped off several chunks of hair. she has only really had hair for six months, so that was a surprise! she managed to stuff enough wads of toilet paper into the toilet to badly plug it. we often find little crayon or marker lines in the wrong places. she loves to rip and tear. if only there were not more opportunities to destroy and permanently ruin possessions. or a mother who has the energy to keep up to her antics. she has no idea the stack of stories she is adding to our memories.

we hope for a brighter tomorrow and that her four year old years will be less eventful.

this one takes the cake. or should i say the chocolate?

my valentine present. unwrapped. partially eaten.
do you see her hands?

speechless.

soooo glad i remembered to take a photo!

ironically i had just completed a layout that included this statement:

Photobucket

"we are thankful for today and grateful for tomorrow"

hmmmm.....

sometimes we need to put "today" behind us and welcome "tomorrow". this is one of those days!

as L.M. Montgomery said, "tomorrow is a new day, with no mistakes in it yet."  definitely makes me glad that a day is only 24 hours.

Kiara will still have some bits of chocolate on her fingers when she awakes tomorrow. {breakfast!} i guess this will encourage me to eat the remaining bits that much quicker?

and maybe also encourage me to pull on my running shoes as well?

life continues to be an adventure. one day i will look back on this and wish our "problems" were this basic!

  2. Isn't that the truth?!! We have been able to laugh about it now. I think the craziest part is that she managed to fall asleep in the middle of eating. Or maybe she figured it was her best defence and gave in to the sleep?
