so cool!

i think this is the greatest trend to ever hit scrapbooking. colour matching. the trend has been around for awhile, but i think that it moved to a new level this year.

you used to be able to find matching Bazzill cardstock for most patterned paper lines. although it was a bit difficult. i say that because i never went to the trouble to figure it out. i'm not even sure if it was for the consumer...or for the companies....or kit clubs. it was not appealing to order a pack of paper just so i could get 1 sheet of cardstock to match.

then Core d'inations came on the scene and created a variety of colours and embossed textures to match patterned papers. it must be successful because they are continuing to add new packs. new partnerships. i love that even the embossed textures coordinate with the patterned papers. very cool. the popular ones are available in single sheets too. or maybe they all are....and i'm slow to have caught on!?

i'm definitely not a matchy-matchy kind of crafter. but there are times when it really does help to simplify the coordinating process.

i came across this post by Pink Paislee.....

they now have collection packs that coordinate with Daily Junque and Soiree. 2 mists, a glam and a glaze. i am guessing these will be available as singles. they shared the names of the colours on their blog. but they are also selling them in pre-packaged containers.

i had to share! i think this is so fun. just one more thing to look forward to while i wait for winter to end...
