a tin

full of heart

i had some fun this weekend crafting a picture frame out of a former jewelry tin.

i used paper and stickers from basic grey i had leftover from my acrylic winter album.

there were also more letter stickers, acrylic shape and rub-ons from american crafts

some jennie bowlin rub-ons and journaling spots. (i used the bar code from the package...Heather - one of my Thursday night Urban dates - had said she used it on one of her projects and how awesome it looked. thanks Heather! you are awesome girlfriend.

making memories, heidi swapp, alcohol ink, pigment ink, edge distresser tool, word stickers from 7 gypsies. i think i have an assortment from all the major companies! lol! would hate to leave anyone out.

but the felt flower is a die cut from the store that i added stitching (by hand!) and then a brad in the centre.

this is the front cover
you open it up and it will even stay open....

the back....

i love that both sides are decorated so that it looks great from either the front or the back when it is open. so it would look great on a table or in front of a window....

another great part? the pictures are removable and can be changed out. and no specific size limit.

can you tell i had fun using up scraps and seeing what works? can't wait to do another one.
