layout!

loved this pink paislee paper too much for it to stay on the shelf at the store....

i tried some layering with supplies i had in my scraps and stash. hambly transparency, cosmo cricket and basic grey papers, prima flowers, american crafts brad, making memories buttons, sei ribbons. the "friends" definition is by my minds' eye and i got it in the prize box i won from Kim Loewen. and the swirl is grungeboard from tim holtz. i painted it with pink crackle paint and then inked with two shades of brown ink. and this was the first time i used the birdie stamp from imaginesce. i wish i had used some patterned paper for them....maybe i'll swap them out one day. and i was also thinking i'll add some journalling...either right on the patterned paper with my zig marker. or i'll just do it on the back.

the various scraps i have displayed on this layout have come from Christmas, autumn, spring and baby theme products. can you guess what products were what theme originally? i'll make you a card if you can figure out one of them!! just leave a comment.....by May 31!
