rolled roses

there were A LOT of flowers on this layout!

here is my next video to demonstrate how to create the THREE rolled roses on this layout. below are close up photos of the roses.








the second page of the layout has 2 of the flowers.



the "map rose" is larger because of the extra TWO flower die cuts used to make them.
the smaller reddish rose is just made up of the spiral die cut.



here is the other larger rose. just like the"map rose" it also has the TWO extra flower die cuts for its base.



i hope my video helped you out. i think i am getting better at these videos, but i still have a lot to learn!




just a quick comparison to the pine cones from our previous layout.

below is the video i promised to add. Tim Holtz put together a fabulous video on creating the pinecone. at the end, he also has a few of the roses to show off. he created his roses using the toothpick and hot glue, just like he did his pine cone. i'll have to give that a try.
